Sound Sultan was role model – Atiku reacts to death of singer

Former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to the death of Olanrewaju Fasasi also known as Sound Sultan.

Atiku described Sound Sultan as a role model to people in the entertainment world.

In a tweet, the former Vice President wrote: “In the short time Olanrewaju Fasasi, fondly known as Sound Sultan, spent on this side of the divide, he was a role model to many in the world of entertainment.

“May the devout man of faith and family Rest In Peace. I pray Allah SWT comforts his bereaved family and friends. Ameen.”

Sound Sultan died in the United States, US, on Sunday after a battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.

The Jagbajantis crooner died at the age of 44 years.

He is survived by his wife, children and siblings.
